Gloucester Cathedral« Back
Practice partner Antony Feltham~King was appointed Cathedral Architect at Gloucester in 2009, with responsibility for the fabric of the Cathedral and the surrounding Close. This complex set of buildings has provided a number of challenges, including the need to carry out emergency repairs to the C15th timber framed Parliament Room in 2009. Work is also continuing on the repair of the masonry to the south aisle, working with the highly skilled in-house team of stonemasons. Gloucester Cathedral was the spectacular setting for the ‘Crucible’ exhibition in 2010, with over 75 sculptures placed in and around the Cathedral and the Close.
